FAQS

HOW MUCH STAGE DO I NEED?

Obviously, it depends! But, there are a few rules of thumb you can use to make planning a little easier.
A small band will typically need a space 4m wide by 3m deep, if you're booking a band and need a stage, the best idea is to check with them first.

HOW MUCH WEIGHT/LOAD CAN IT TAKE?

The static load bearing capacity of the stage is measured in KPa or kg/square meter. Our stages range in load capacity from 2.5KPa (250kg/m) to 5.2KPa/520kg/m depending on the size and type of stage module.
All our stages come with an engineering certificate of compliance should you require it.

CAN I MODIFY IT (DRILL HOLES, SCREW IN POSTS)?

Yes. And No. Maybe :-)
Our stages feature a specially coated plywood top-deck that's suitable for drilling, cutting etc and we're more than happy for you to do that provided you pay for a replacement deck (roughly $200-400 depending on the size). You can keep the deck for next time you might need it.
Of course you can always buy the stage modules from us and start your own hire company!

WHY IS THE SKY BLUE?

If you're asking this question you're probably not from Melbourne where the sky isn't one colour for long enough that the question even makes sense.
Generally speaking it has to do with the refraction of sunlight.
